A well known quote from Abdul-Baha identifies "hell-fire" as a conflict, hatred and animosity: "Be ye a rich treasure to every indigent one; consider love and union as a delectable paradise, and count annoyance and hostility as the torment of hell-fire.
Oct 29, 3. Oct 29, 4. Art is correct in his description of the Baha'i concept of hell. And a few additional points are worth noting: First off, as spiritual nearness to and separation from God, Heaven and hell exist here and now as well as after death, and evey one of us is in one or the other at every moment as a function of where our heads are at!
In this life, we can also instantly change from one to the other by altering our mindset. Also, in the Next Life hell is not a permanent condition because God, in His infinite Mercy, assists even those in the worst circumstances eventually to progress toward Him and therefore ultimately enter Heaven!
Best, Bruce. Oct 29, 5. I'm not speaking for Jane of course, but I see what you're saying and I'd like to say that the Orthodox understanding is not more comforting, but it's more "scientific", for lack of a better word.
God is what He is. He is over and above the natural universe. So when the natural universe is no more, God, and God's realm Ultimate Reality , will be all there is. Both the repentant sinner, and the unrepentant sinner, will be in the presence of God, because there is no other location. And the reception or rejection of God, cannot but be experienced differently. For a weak and rough analogy, I think of gravity.
A rock and an eagle are both subject to gravity. For a rock gravity is a constant "drag", it is, and will be, pulled down forever. They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For a fire is kindled by my anger, and it burns to the depths of Sheol, devours the earth and its increase, and sets on fire the foundations of the mountains.
Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord , and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended.
After that he must be released for a little while. Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands.
They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.
This is the first resurrection. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows.
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might, for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going.
And throw them into the fiery furnace. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.
For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt.
He foresaw and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to Hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. And in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. Specifically, no capital F: Family.
That meant any firepower in the house would be limited to whatever Dante Ricci kept on hand. Whatever he had, it probably wasn't going to stack up against the 9mm machine gun pistol Sullivan had holstered at his side. Or his scalpel. Despite the chill in the air, he was perspiring under his jacket, and a patch of sweat had soaked through his T-shirt where the piece hugged his body. The ocean breeze did nothing to cool him down, either. Only his patience held him in check.
His professionalism, he liked to think. Traits he had no doubt inherited from his father, the original Butcher, who, if nothing else, had been a patient bastard. Finally, he moved in toward the beach house. He walked past a shiny black Jaguar sitting on the blond brick parking pad and entered into one of the open garage bays, where a white Jag made bookends with the black one.
It didn't take long to find something useful in the garage. The Butcher picked up a short-handled sledgehammer from the workbench in the back. He hoisted it and felt its weight.
Just about right. Very nice. Jeez, he liked tools. Just like his old man. He'd have to swing lefty if he wanted to stay gun-ready, but his strike zone was as big as, well, a Jaguar's windshield. Sullivan immediately hoofed it out to the front yard, about halfway back to the main road. He stepped just out of sight behind a mature red oak that seemed out of place here — like him.
His finger was at the pistol's trigger, but no. No shooting yet. Let Dante think he was some shitbag Jersey Shore burglar. That should bring him running and cursing. The front screen door flew open seconds later, smacked hard against the wall of the house.
Two sets of floodlights flared. Sullivan squinted against the light. But he could see ol' Dante on the porch — with a pistol in his hand. In swim shorts no less — and flip-flops. Well muscled and in good shape, but so what. What a cocky bastard this guy was. You better start running! Sullivan smiled. This was Junior's enforcer? The new Butcher? This buffed punk at his beach house? In bathing trunks and plastic shoes? The Butcher stepped into plain view, took a little bow, then sprayed the front porch before Dante saw it coming.
In truth, why would he? Refresh isssue - Adapt fashion to character's weapon bar configuration. Preview version.

Now when I click [Improved Random Dye], instead of applying whatever new color to the left slot on all items, it will substitute dyes using the assignment pattern already established.
Say you're fond of white on specific parts of your outfit, you could lock those down and only randomize the rest of the outfit. I'm a bit confused. It should still work for costumes. I no longer see a way to do that. Even though God has created just one heaven where God dwells, I believe that scripture has divided this one place called "heaven" into categories.
In many scriptures, the word "sky" is also used for heaven in some bibles. The word heaven itself come from a hebrew word meaning "heights or elevations. Some, if not many go as far as to tell us that there are three heavens, they have done this on the basis of certain scriptures. The question now arises: Where is this heaven? Other interpretations use the word "sky. Also in Genesis : "the fowls of the heaven" and in Lamentations , "the Eagles of heaven. All these scriptures have reference to the sky.Dec 29, · Art style seems familiar Is this by the same person as the Gay Soap series? Edit: Nnnnope, upon looking at the Soap series and this, I'm pretty sure they might be from different artists. This one has cleaner linework and a somewhat simpler style, while Soap can get very dynamic and has more detailed (muscular) human anatomy when they're shown.
